Tagging people

Normally we do the @ sign but doesn't seem to go through. I've been quoting people to have them be tagged. Is there another way?

This version of SMF forum software does not have a built-in tagging system.  That is why I installed the notification modification and modified it to where you could set whether you see them or not in your forum profile settings.

There are a couple of modifications being worked on that may add tagging ability, but I'm not holding my breath while waiting for them to be released.

See, the new version of SMF has tagging built in it so for someone to create a modification for just one (older) version isn't anyone's priority.

I know you are thinking, "well, move to the new version of the software".  In doing so, it would basically be like starting over because the theme(s) and modifications already implemented here won't work with the new version.

So . . . I'll throw Tagging on my list of things to do.  That's my very tall list of things to do
