Covid
« on: January 02, 2022, 10:13:13 AM »
Right a place to chat about covid..if you wish.

Have you had your vaccinations and booster? If not, what prompted your decision?

Have you had covid? How did you feel?  So,many questions…

So..I have had all my vaccinations including my booster. Yes I still managed to get covid..however it was nothing more than a cough and a cold..it would have been worse if I hadn't had it..

My mum had it and now dad has it

ps….please no arguments or the thread will be locked..I’m a great believer in freedom of choice. The amount of rows covid causes amongst families…

I had it. Badly. Wouldn't wish it on anyone.

I'm now fully vaccinated with booster.

No vaccination and no covid. Not so much as a cold in almost 4 years.
My siter and my daughter both had their 2 jabs. ONLY reason they got it was so they could travel. Now that might be for naught as two jabs probably won't be enough in some countries.  My daughter won't get the booster, but my sister probably will cave especially if they want to travel to Europe this summer where most won't let you in unless you've been triple jabbed.
. I was talking with my best friend yesterday. The ONLY reason she is jabbed and boosted is her husband had a kidney transplant years ago which makes him one of the vulnerable. Supposedly.  She got her booster and regrets it.  There are no arguments in my family because of this. We respect each others rights and opinions. And it sure as heck doesn't stop us from visiting each other. I know some won't even let anyone into their home unless they are jabbed, masked and sanitized.

I'm not disrespecting your opinion but one could argue that the vaccination DOES belong in your body. Do you ever get flu shots, pneumonia shots, etc.?

Or, conversely, do you eat/drink things with little to no nutritional value? They don't belong in your body.

Just food for thought. You're absolutely allowed your right to believe what you want and I respect that.  :)

We've cursed ourselves with vaccines and antibiotics.  And now we are paying the price.

I've had 2 doses and the booster. My daughter had COVID a few months back and she was very ill with it.

I am of the understanding you don't need a booster jab to travel into the UK.

Quote
the Department of Health and Social Care confirmed it will not be necessary to show evidence of a booster for travel into England at this time, and booster or third doses will not be added to the domestic Covid pass as it is not a current requirement for people to receive these to qualify as fully vaccinated.
